This is your life. How you experience it is up to you.

You can choose to feel your life and be mindfully present or you can let the days slip by in a blur of busyness, overwhelm and scattered thoughts.

You can end the day feeling that you haven’t done “enough”, didn’t accomplish what you wanted to, didn’t truly enjoy any part of it, or worst of all, barely even remember what you did all day (been there!).

OR, you can choose to find ways to build habits into your life each day to live more fully (mindfulness is one way).

Let’s dig into you a little more personally.

Do you truly, honestly, deeply believe that you deserve to live your life more fully?

Reflect on how you feel about this question for a moment.

This word, DESERVE, is highly charged and is part of what challenges many of us to live our best life and expand to our fullest potential.

  • Do you deeply, honestly believe that you deserve to feel blessed, joyful, happy, calm, loved, safe, successful, purposeful, abundant and fulfilled?
  • Is your busy brain, constantly full of scattered thoughts and emotions, somewhat of a distraction keeping you from giving yourself, your life, your loved ones, your day – your full attention?
  • Are you allowing your mind to carry you in a million different directions all day, mentally running away from what you are afraid of (failure?) or from you don’t want to feel?
  • Isn’t it time to give yourself the self-care you need to nourish the growth your authentic self desperately desires?

Think about how you want to feel.
Think about the years that have passed and how you can’t remember as many of the joyful times as you can recall the difficult and painful ones.

YOU DESERVE TO ENJOY THE RICH AND ABUNDANT JOYS that are can be a part of every single day of your life going forward.

It doesn’t matter how you have screwed up in the past, or what regrets you have, or the path you didn’t take, or the messes you’ve made along the way.

Even the bad days have moments of wonder and awe that we should absorb more fully, more mindfully. The beauty of sunshine in a blue sky, the sparkle of stars in the night sky. Get yourself in the moment more fully.

You deserve to live your life more fully.

You deserve to experience the sights, sounds, smells, feelings, taste and gut-level intuition of what is happening in front of you.

You deserve to experience beauty, gratitude and peace. Every single one of us does.

The more you can bring yourself to that feeling, the more your heart and mind expands to the joyful possibilities that you can welcome into your life.
